Why Left Lane Hogging Should Be Taken Seriously

Every time I drive on the highway, I see people camping in the left lane, ignoring the 'keep right except to pass' rule. Where I live, the speed limit is 70-75mph, but left lane hoggers often go 10 under, forcing others to weave dangerously or pass on the right. It’s frustrating and unsafe for everyone. I believe stricter penalties—like fines and points—would make a real difference. Lane discipline should be a bigger part of driver’s ed, and maybe we should all retest every decade.
