My Cat’s Reaction to Laser Pointers
Every time I pick up the laser pointer, my cat morphs into a tiny, fluffy predator. The red dot appears, and suddenly, she’s a panther on the savannah—except the prey is a pixel on my living room rug.
She’ll stalk, pounce, and even try to outsmart the dot by sneaking up from behind (as if I’m not the one controlling it). After ten minutes, she’s panting, wide-eyed, and convinced she’s won. I turn off the pointer, and she gives me that look: pure betrayal. Like, how dare I let the dot escape again?
Honestly, I feel like a magician with a very unimpressed audience. She keeps coming back for more, though. Maybe she knows it’s a game. Or maybe she’s just hoping one day, she’ll finally catch that elusive red dot and become a legend among cats. Either way, I’m here for the drama.
