Office Joke Backfired—Now I Look Like a Fool😅🙈
I attempted an office-themed joke to lighten the mood, but it fell completely flat. I sounded like an idiot.
I got a call from a client nearby and arrived in under 5 minutes. When I walked in, one woman said, “Wow, you’re fast!” Trying to be clever, I replied, “I’m quick. For reference, my speed is between a snake and a mongoose… and a leopard.”
The other ladies gave me weird looks and said, “Okay, what?” before I could explain it was an office reference. Now I’m just sitting here, cringing.
