Laundry has become my nemesis lately. As a broke college student in a humid, swampy city, I’m stuck between overpriced laundromats and the sketchy washers in my apartment complex that look like they’ve eaten socks and souls. I’m considering a DIY fix: hand-washing my clothes in the tub and just paying to dry them. Hanging clothes to dry is a no-go—humidity here turns everything into a damp, mildewy mess.
