46, No Degree, Lost Abroad & Unsure If Coding Is My Way Out! 😩
I'm 46, and honestly, I feel completely lost. I never went to college, but I spent over a decade as a computer tech, then almost eight years in a comfy office job handling online sales. That all ended in 2019, and since then, I've bounced between odd jobs and driving gigs.
Now, I've moved from the US to Spain, and not speaking the language has made it even harder to find my place. My rental income keeps me afloat, but I feel stuck and unfulfilled. I can't seem to find anything I'm passionate about, and it's left me feeling pretty down.
The only thing that sparks a little interest is learning to code, but is it even realistic at my age? Has anyone else been in my shoes? I could really use some advice or encouragement right now. 🙏
