Why Do Drivers Hog the Left Lane? My NYC Frustration

Every time I’m on the highway and see someone just hanging out in the left lane, not passing, it drives me nuts. The left lane is supposed to be for passing, right? In New York, it feels like this happens all the time—people just cruising, totally unaware of the traffic building up behind them. I once got stuck behind a slowpoke for miles, and it made me late for work. I wish more folks understood how this messes up the flow for everyone.
