Unlock Your Assertive Side—No More Pushovers!
Ever feel like people walk all over you? 🙈 I totally get it! Here’s how I learned to be more assertive (without turning into a jerk 😅):
• I stand tall—shoulders back, feet apart, hands visible. It’s wild how much more confident I feel!
• I look people in the eye (but not in a creepy way 😂) and keep my face relaxed.
• When I talk, I use "I" statements—like, "I feel..." instead of blaming. It keeps things chill and honest.
• Saying "No" used to freak me out, but now I keep it short, clear, and guilt-free. No more endless excuses!
• If I’m nervous, I practice what I want to say in the mirror. It helps SO much!
• When I’m tense, I blast my favorite playlist or hit the gym. Seriously, it works wonders for my mood! 🎶🏋️♂️
