Best Car Photo & Trip EVER! This Rainbow Felt Like God's Sign

Snapped this from the car window on my way to pick up the family for a three-day road trip. Driving my Subaru, I was buzzing with excitement to see my wife and kids. Then, I just glanced out and BAM! What unfolded before my eyes was truly breathtaking: a complete, vibrant rainbow arcing over a beautiful yellow field, with my car's silhouette driving right in its heart. Seriously, this felt like a divine sign – a powerful reminder that family love and joy are God's most precious gifts. This moment, this view – it's etched in my memory forever! The three days that followed were pure bliss, too. (Funny story: we conceived our third child during these very three days❤️). #DrivingAdventures #RoadTripMoments #FamilyAdventure #CarPhotography #DivineTiming #Subaru #UnexpectedBeauty #MakingMemories #LuckyShot #GodsGrace #Blessed

The Best Way to Make Lasting Family Memories ❤️

Last week a new parent asked me about how to make memories with family. I think I'm qualified to speak on this. The secret to making lasting family memories - It's all about shaping and nurturing those unique traditions. Every year, I pull out a plain white felt Christmas tree skirt I got from Michael's ages ago. And every year, without fail, my son picks a paint color, and we add his handprints to it. He's 15 now, practically taller than me, but he still does it! It's wild seeing all those growing handprints year after year. And he also still humors me with a Santa picture at the mall. Yeah, it's cheesy as heck now that he's a teenager, but as long as I'm buying lunch afterwards, he's totally down for it. Those pics are treasures! These little things, they're what build the real fabric of our family. What are your favorite family memories or traditions? Love to hear them ❤️🎄 #CoreMemory #FamilyTraditions #ChristmasTraditions #FamilyFun #Teenagers #Parenting #MakingMemories #FamilyLife #Traditions #ChildhoodMemories #Blessed

How I Survived a Legendary Friend Hangout

Ever had one of those days where you and your friends have zero plans, but somehow it turns into the best day ever? That was me last Saturday. We started with a movie marathon at my place—popcorn everywhere, someone always pausing the movie to debate the plot, and yes, we judged a truly terrible rom-com. We even tried to outdo each other reading cringe-worthy lines from an old book I found (let’s just say, dramatic readings are our new thing). When we got tired of sitting, we threw together a DIY spa day—cucumber water, face masks, and a playlist that was more chaotic than calming. By the end, we looked ridiculous but felt amazing. Honestly, it wasn’t about what we did, but just laughing together and making memories. If you ever feel bored, just invite your crew over and let the chaos unfold. Trust me, it’s worth it. 😜✨ #FriendshipGoals #MakingMemories #FunAtHome

How I Survived a Weekend at My Friend’s House

Let me tell you about the last time I went to my friend Jamie’s house. You’d think after hanging out a dozen times, we’d run out of things to do, but nope—Jamie’s house is like a treasure chest of weird fun. We started with board games (I pretended not to care about winning, but I totally did), then moved on to video games, where Jamie crushed me so badly I considered blaming the controller. When the rain hit, we built a blanket fort that somehow ended up bigger than Jamie’s actual room. We even baked cookies, though half the dough mysteriously disappeared (don’t ask). Hanging out at a friend’s place is always an adventure—sometimes you just have to let go and enjoy the chaos. Want to hear about the time we tried to make a time capsule? 😂🍪🏠 #FriendshipGoals #WeekendFun #MakingMemories

Unforgettable Vacations That Spark Joy in Kids Over 5

When I think back to the vacations that truly lit up my kids’ faces, it wasn’t always the grandest destinations that mattered most. Sometimes, it was the simple thrill of camping under the stars, roasting marshmallows, and telling stories by the fire. Other times, it was exploring a new city together, letting curiosity lead us from quirky museums to hidden playgrounds. Kids over five crave adventure, discovery, and the chance to make memories with their families—whether it’s a beach trip, a mountain hike, or a road trip full of surprises. What matters most is the sense of togetherness and the freedom to explore. What kind of vacation has your child loved the most?
