A 5 year old boy was beaten to death over 50 dollars and no one stopped it.

Fernandito was just 5 years old. He should have been playing, laughing, and dreaming. Instead, he became the victim of unthinkable cruelty all over a debt of 1,000 pesos (about 50 dollars).
When his mother, Noemí, could not repay, the lenders, Carlos N, Ana Lilia N, and Lilia N, took her little boy as “collateral.” For days, she begged for his return and pleaded with authorities for help. Neighbors say her cries were ignored.
On August 4, Fernandito’s small body was found stuffed in a sack. He had been brutally beaten, starved, and left to die. The autopsy revealed head trauma, dehydration, and signs of brutal abuse.
Three suspects are now behind bars. But what does it say about our world when 50 dollars is worth more than a child’s life?
