🥑avotoasty 📍 1796 Union St, San Francisco, CA 94123 ▫️The former internet-famous toast shop has now been renovated and upgraded, bringing more beautiful toast combinations. I visited the new store twice since it opened, and the taste is really good, especially when eaten as a quick breakfast, paired with a hot matcha latte🍵, it warms up the whole morning. ▫️Salmon Toasty Who doesn't love slices of salmon? Spread a thick layer of avocado sauce on it, drizzle fresh lemon juice, and toast it until crispy. The blend of the slightly sour taste is perfectly fused with the meaty aroma of salmon. ▫️Eggy Toasty I give this custard egg 💯! Two soft and juicy custard eggs on one toast, what kind of magical combination is this?! The avocado sauce fills my mouth, and the egg yolk adds another layer of flavor. ▫️Veggie Toasty Although it's vegan, as long as it tastes good, I'm all for it, given its appearance and texture! 🥰 All their toasts have avocado sauce as the base, and the taste changes according to the toppings. Not a single one disappoints. ▫️Matcha Latte It's a large cup! The matcha flavor is strong and rich. I chose a hot drink, which is more suitable for the special climate in San Francisco. 😂 ▫️Beetroot Latte I'm quite curious! But honestly, it doesn't taste bad. I'm someone who never eats beetroot, but I found it acceptable! ▫️Acai Bowl Who can resist a bowl of Hawaiian-style fruit acai bowl? Just be careful with the acai at the bottom—it's really cold! The fruits are super fresh, and the serving size is generous. 🌴Palm House 📍2032 Union St, San Francisco, CA 94123 · ▫️This tropical-themed restaurant in San Francisco has always been on the must-visit list for many people, after all, you can instantly feel like you're in Hawaii! I came here a few years ago for brunch, and my favorite part was the indoor dome-like decor that let in natural light! The open view and the sunlight pouring in from the ceiling were so comfortable. The outdoor seating is also beautiful, but unfortunately, it was raining the day I came.🫠 · ▫️This time, I attended a food event and got to try all their signature dishes, thanks to the chef's hospitality. Gotta say, enjoying delicious food is best when you follow the chef's lead. 😂 · Appetizers 🍗Sesame Chicken Wings Very flavorful, the sauce is sticky and heavy in taste. 🥑Fried Avocado Super yummy! I don't usually eat fried food, but I thought it was delicious! 🥥Coconut Shrimp A bit dry, though. 🍙Hawaiian Rice Balls Really tasty, more like a main dish, and the seasoning inside is well balanced. · Main courses 🍄Mushroom Poke Bowl Mushroom lover here, and the rice in it tasted unexpectedly good! 🐟Tuna Poke Bowl The tuna was overly salty, caught me off guard, almost sent it back. 🐟Salmon Poke Bowl Big chunks of fish! The side dishes were generous too! One bowl is enough. 🍔Pineapple Chicken Burger Delicious, even though it's chicken, the flavors are great. 🍔Avocado Chicken Burger The avocado adds a creamy touch. · Desserts 🍌Banana Cream Pie The portion was a bit too big, but it was really tasty, just worried about the calorie intake. 🍍Pineapple Jam French Toast Best eaten hot, super delicious! It deserves to be worshipped and should not be missed! ▫️I've been a fan for years and have ordered takeout from them several times during the pandemic. There isn't a single item I don't love! ▫️Fried Chicken Sandwich: A must-try! You can choose the level of spiciness, so if you can handle it, go for spicy! Experience the joy of juicy chicken bursting with spicy oil! It's absolutely heavenly! And the chicken is super tender and juicy! Highly recommended👌 ▫️Chicken Biscuit with Tots: A good combination with small and tasty biscuits and a side of tater tots. ▫️Naked Bird: Just fried chicken, you can choose the level of spiciness. It's already cut into pieces, making it easy to eat! It's so satisfying! If you don't like bread, you can order this directly! ▫️Fully Loaded: French fries topped with lots of cheese sauce and bacon crumbs. If you don't count calories, this is a taste bomb! I had a good impression when I tried it a while ago, so I couldn't resist revisiting when I saw it nearby. Since my stomach hasn't been feeling well lately, I wanted something hot and comforting, and a bowl of Pho seemed perfect. - The portion of noodle soup is generous, even the medium-sized bowl is enough. The vegetables, broccoli 🥦 and shrimp rolls, are fresh, and the service is fast! Indeed, enjoying hot noodle soup while it's still hot is the most comforting. - PPQ Beef Noodle House offers a combination of raw beef slices, beef balls, beef tripe, and more in a bowl of noodle soup, making it the most diverse bowl of beef noodle. I personally love it! You can taste all the different ingredients in one go. - Another favorite of mine is the Five-Spice Chicken. The noodle soup and chicken pieces are served separately. The broth for the noodle soup is flavorful, and the chicken is fried to perfection - crispy and tender. 🥘So Gong Dong Tofu House 📍 4127 El Camino Real, Palo Alto, CA 94306 ▫️ I've seen recommendations for this Korean tofu pot with fish roe in both Xiaohong🍠 and Dealmoon's circle. I had to try it! After hiking nearby, I quickly came over! ▫️ I realized after coming here that I've been to this tofu pot place several times before the pandemic, and it really is a delicious tofu pot. Let's have it again, this time back at the familiar place. ▫️ We arrived very early and sat outside. The inside is also open. Later it became packed with people. They have their own parking lot here, with plenty of parking spaces, very convenient. 🥟 Dumplings and Spicy Beef Soup Love it! This is my favorite dish. I like this combination. I recommend getting it extra spicy, refreshing! The combination of beef slices + glass noodles + dumplings, etc. is rich and satisfyingly spicy! 🥘 Fish Roe Tofu Pot Personally, I think it's just average. I prefer the normal-flavored tofu pot. The fish roe is a bit fishy, and the overall texture feels strange. I usually like eating fish roe, but I'm not a big fan of this tofu pot and fish roe combination. 🍗 BBQ Chicken Very substantial! I thought there would be a lot of onion side dishes or something, but what came was a big portion of grilled chicken! Tender and flavorful👍 🍜 Korean Stir-Fried Mixed Vegetables with Glass Noodles I really love this dish. It can be eaten as a main course, just casually. 🦀Bag O'Crab 📍 101 Parrott St, San Leandro, CA 94577 · ▫️Crab boils, bagged seafood, accustomed to traditional Cajun flavors, but they have Thirteen Spices flavor?! Time to go check it out. · ▫️The Plaza is a bit small and has limited parking spaces, but there are plenty of street parking spots nearby, so no need to worry about parking 🅿️. The restaurant has a large indoor and outdoor seating area. The outdoor area might be a bit chilly now, but it should be nice when it's warm. There's also a huge private party room at the back, perfect for large gatherings. · 🦀Dungeness Crab combo ▫️They actually have Thirteen Spices flavor on the menu! We ordered the Dungeness Crab combo, which includes steamed crab, fresh shrimp, corn, sausage, potatoes, and other sides. The Thirteen Spices flavor is highly recommended! (Slightly salty, recommended to have it with rice, so delicious). The ingredients inside are plentiful and have a distinct Asian flavor. · 🦞Crawfish+clams ▫️We chose Garlic Butter for the crawfish/clams, and the taste was very flavorful. The garlic sauce goes perfectly with rice. · 🍟Sweet potato fries are a must-order, absolutely love them! They have a sugary coating on the outside, just the right amount of sweetness. We also had a serving of tasty Cajun wings, adding to the Cajun seafood experience. · 🐟Cajun Fish over Rice ▫️Another highly recommended dish is their Cajun Fish over Rice! Amazing that they offer rice toppings, so satisfying! The grilled fish fillet is incredibly tender, and whether paired with the fish or various sauces, the rice is a perfect match! Chicken Liver Salad in a French Restaurant 😍

🥘 Mathilde French Bistro 📍 315 5th St, San Francisco, CA 94107 ▫️ This small French restaurant near my home has been standing for years and is always on the Michelin recommended list and various food review rankings. ▫️ I've been here a few times before the pandemic, and the impression has always been great. The portions are generous, the taste is rich, and it feels authentic! ▫️ Coming back after the pandemic, I ordered my favorite Scallop that I always get, and it's still delicious! This time, I tried their new dish, Chicken Liver Salad 🥗, and it's absolutely amazing! 🥹 It's so tasty that it brought tears to my eyes! Next time, I should just order two servings and have it as my main course! The chicken liver is so tender!!! The portion they gave is very generous, the plate is fully filled with chicken livers, hardly any green leafy vegetables can be seen 😂 ▫️ The duck leg is also a classic! If you love steak, their steak is also very good! ▫️ The dessert selection is not extensive, but the portion is generous.
