Who’s the 3rd Greatest Point Guard of All Time?

Magic Johnson and Stephen Curry are the clear consensus top two. But the race for #3 all-time PG is wide open. Unlike other positions, the top title-winners at PG (KC Jones with 8, Bob Cousy with 6, Derek Fisher with 5) aren’t usually in the convo. Among the usual candidates: Isiah Thomas (2 rings) Jerry West (1 ring) Oscar Robertson (1 ring, triple-double season) Steve Nash (2× MVP, 0 rings) John Stockton (all-time assists & steals leader, 0 rings) Chris Paul (0 rings, but longevity & all-around greatness) So the debate comes down to what you value most: titles, MVPs, stats, or overall impact. Can Kevin Durant Surpass Kareem on the All-Time Scoring List?

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar retired with 38,387 career points, a mark that stood as the NBA’s all-time scoring record for nearly 40 years. Kevin Durant currently has 30,571 points. That leaves him about 7,800 points shy of Kareem. The math: If KD averaged 22 PPG and played 65 games a season, he’d need about 5–6 more seasons to pass Kareem. At age 37 in the coming season, and with injuries limiting him in recent years, that seems a steep climb. Still, KD is one of the most efficient and consistent scorers the league has ever seen, so even if he falls short, his place among the greatest scorers in history is secure. So — does KD have a real shot at catching Kareem's all time scroing record? #KevinDurant #KareemAbdulJabbar #NBA #ScoringRecord #NBADebate #BasketballHistory #Sports
