I present to you the most cursed Mount Rushmore in NFL history
Johnny Manziel, Brandon Weeden, Brady Quinn, Tim Couch
These four legends represent two decades of the most spectacular quarterback failures this league has ever witnessed, and honestly, they deserve their own wing in Canton for the sheer entertainment value alone.
Johnny Manziel brought us the most spectacular flameout in recent memory, complete with Vegas party videos and money phone celebrations while his NFL career burned to the ground in real time. Brandon Weeden somehow convinced an NFL team to draft a 28-year-old rookie who threw passes like he was still playing baseball. Brady Quinn looked like he was carved by the football gods themselves, then proceeded to play like he’d never seen a football before stepping onto an NFL field.
And Tim Couch, the poor bastard who started this whole Cleveland quarterback curse, got absolutely demolished behind offensive lines that treated pass protection like a suggestion rather than a job requirement. The man never had a chance, but he’ll forever be remembered as patient zero of the Browns quarterback apocalypse.
