Toll hikes coming to NJ & PA bridges in 2026

Commuters in New Jersey and Pennsylvania will soon feel a pinch in their wallets: starting January 1, 2026, crossing eight major bridges will cost more—especially for those without E-ZPass. Toll-by-plate drivers will see the biggest jump, with rates rising from $2 to $5, while E-ZPass users will pay 50 cents more. Truckers and larger vehicles face even steeper increases per axle.
