Marcia Hamilton+FollowBrooklyn nonprofit empowers local entrepreneursNYPACE is making waves in Brooklyn by being named a finalist for the NYC Imagine Awards, recognizing their powerful impact on local entrepreneurs of color and women. Out of nearly 250 applicants, they’re one of just four finalists in the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility category. If they win, NYPACE will launch a new Workshop Learning Series to support 75 under-resourced business owners with hands-on sessions in finance, marketing, and leadership. Their efforts have already helped create or retain over 170 local jobs and keep 94% of businesses running strong.
