Caught my 7-year-old sassing me with lines straight from a cartoon, and that’s when I realized: Netflix needed a parental filter—fast. 😅 Here’s what’s actually worked for us: 🔹 Set up a kid profile and locked the main one. My son tried to guess my PIN (he failed, but nice try, buddy!). 🔹 Blocked specific shows like Sam & Cat and iCarly after some eye-roll-worthy attitude started showing up. Honestly, didn’t realize how much they picked up until it was coming out of his mouth! 🔹 Previewed new shows together first. Sometimes I’m shocked at what passes for “kids” content. 🙈 🔹 Used the “report” feature when something slipped through. Not sure if it helps, but it made me feel better! 🔹 Parent confession: I once blocked a show just because I couldn’t stand the theme song anymore.
