How I Rebuilt My Life at 37—And Why It’s Never Too Late
So, to start off, I have ADD and possibly Asperger’s (never officially diagnosed, but doctors hinted at it). My childhood was lonely—never met my father, and my mom left me with my grandparents. Making friends was nearly impossible. I was smart but struggled in school, bullied, and misunderstood. I spent years hiding in games, avoiding real life, and hating myself.
At 35, I hit rock bottom. That’s when I decided to change everything. I moved abroad, picked up new hobbies, and learned to love myself for the first time. I stopped chasing others’ approval and started living for me. My life isn’t perfect, but I finally feel alive and hopeful.
