is ocean one in vegas really worth the hype?
Last weekend, we were in Vegas, and after wandering the Strip for what felt like forever, we finally stumbled into Ocean One inside Planet Hollywood. I’ll be honest, I usually go to Vegas for the parties and nightlife, not for the food. My friends and I aren’t picky eaters—we just want something quick and cheap before heading out for drinks. But Ocean One totally surprised us. The place was packed, but the energy was great, and the menu had so many options for just $5.99, both for lunch and dinner.
Here’s the kicker: they offer three drinks for $12, and you can pick anything—cocktails, shots, you name it. I kept thinking, "There’s no way the food is actually good at these prices." But my burger was juicy, and my friend’s pasta was surprisingly flavorful. The only downside? The wait for a table was longer than we expected, and the servers seemed a bit overwhelmed. Still, the vibe was lively, and it didn’t feel like your typical greasy bar food joint.
