Mario Larsen+FollowToro Beach Hike MagicCraving coastal thrills? This 2.3-mile loop near Del Mar packs moderate terrain—61 minutes of rugged beauty. Choose your path: clockwise offers inland ocean views first, then shoreline strolls; counterclockwise swaps sand for inland trails early on. Short, steep climbs add spice, but clear markers guide the way. Beach sections? Only walkable at low tide—check NOAA’s tides (https://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov) to avoid getting stuck. No pets allowed, but all skill levels welcome. Year-round magic, one step at a time. #Outdoors #Hiking #CoastalHikes #ToroBeachTrail #TideAwareAdventures 30Share

johnsonryan+FollowOutdoor sports quick-drying hat: fisherman's hat or duck tongue hat?Hiking hat, certainly choose lightweight, breathable ah, and now a variety of brands with the same price are doing a lot worse. The next is the difference between the cap type ~ Do you prefer fisherman or duck tongue cap? I've been wearing Outdoor Research from Seattle for a while now, and I feel pretty good about it. But I accidentally lost it on my last hike, so I'm thinking of buying a new one and considering a different hat style? Any recommendations from those who usually wear the fisherman hat type? #Outdoors r #Hiking #quick-dry hat #fisherman hat60Share
lolson+FollowWhy Northern New England is underrated for huntersJust moved to NH and honestly blown away by how hunter-friendly it is up here! 🦌 No draw systems (except moose), your license includes tags, and here's the crazy part - you can hunt anywhere that's not posted. Most big landowners don't even post because they get tax breaks for keeping land open! Yeah the deer density isn't like down south, but these northern bucks are MASSIVE. Plus I can hunt Maine, NH, and Vermont all for under $500 total. Even as a non-resident, Maine is only $150. Been living near Boston for work and driving up weekends. Best of both worlds - decent job market but incredible hunting access. The tougher hunting just makes it more rewarding when you connect. Anyone else hunting this region? The lack of red tape is refreshing compared to other states. #Outdoors #hunting #newenglandhunting #newhampshire #maine #publiclandhunting74Share
