Raising Boys: Redefining Strength and Kindness in Masculinity
When I think about what I want to teach my son about masculinity, I always come back to the idea that real strength is found in kindness, honesty, and vulnerability. Growing up, I saw men who felt pressured to hide their emotions, but I want my boy to know that it's okay to feel, to cry, and to ask for help. We talk about respecting others, standing up for what's right, and being true to himself—even when it's hard. I hope he learns that masculinity isn't about fitting a mold, but about becoming a good, compassionate human being. What values do you hope to pass on to your sons? Share your thoughts below!
