The Rainbow Didn’t Fix Anything
I paid for the elevator, waited in line, and squeezed into the crowd at the top of the Eiffel Tower. Paris was gray and wet—classic. Then, out of nowhere, a rainbow arched over the city. People gasped, phones came out, and for a second, it felt like something big should shift inside me.
But honestly? I just felt tired. The view was perfect, but I wasn’t. I took the photo, didn’t post it, and wondered if I’d ever stop chasing moments that look better than they feel. Sometimes the magic shows up, and you’re still just you, standing in the rain.
