I had previously heard people explain their love for SF and the Bay Area by the fact that they can choose to experience different seasons there. In New York, you live through the changing seasons. In contrast, in the Bay Area, you can decide on the change in temperature. 'I don't live in seasons, I visit seasons' - What an interesting perspective shift! Last weekend, I visited East Bay and truly experienced summer heat 🔥. Then, returning to San Francisco was a consistent 18 degrees Celsius with intermittent cool breezes. But heading further south to the Peninsula, it was a slightly warmer 20-something degrees.
