Met My New Furry Therapist Today
So apparently my neighborhood is a hotspot for stray cats with PhDs in emotional support. Today, mid-walk, I locked eyes with a tiny fluffball who immediately decided my shoes were the perfect place for a nap. I swear, these cats have a sixth sense for finding people who need a little extra serotonin.
I sat down, fully prepared to be late for everything, and just let her purr away my existential dread. She had that look like, "Human, you seem stressed. Allow me to fix that with my toe beans."
No collar, but maximum attitude. Gave her some pets, whispered my secrets, and left feeling like maybe the universe isn’t so bad after all.
Anyway, if anyone’s missing a tiny therapist with a tail, she’s out here saving lives one cuddle at a time.
