the royal love affair with these royal pups 🐾👑

Queen Elizabeth II wasn’t just a beloved monarch—she was obsessed with corgis. Since her teenage years, she’s had over 30 of these fluffy little companions. It all began when her father gave her a corgi named Susan when she was just 18. Susan not only stayed with her for 15 years but also started a royal line of corgis that kept her company throughout her reign. Her favorite? Willow, a direct descendant of Susan, who lived to a ripe 18 years old before passing in 2018. These royal pups weren’t just pets—they were practically treated like royalty. Private chefs, gourmet meals (think fish, rabbit meat, and liver), and even their own personal transport. Talk about living the high life! But as the queen got older, she decided to stop breeding new corgis in 2009, fearing they’d feel lonely after she passed. Her love for them never faded—"My corgis are my family," she said. Royal or not, Queen Elizabeth showed us all that love for animals is truly timeless. #RoyalFamily #Corgis #PetLove

Meet My Peculiar Lizard That Became Family

Raising a pet lizard wasn't something I planned, but life threw a little scaly surprise my way. When I first saw Spike at the pet shop, his spiky appearance was intimidating, and honestly, he wasn't the cutest critter on the block. But looks aren't everything, right? Over time, his quirky behavior totally won me over. Spike loves basking under his lamp and doing these hilarious head bobs that leave me cracking up. Watching him lounge around in his tank is almost therapeutic. I've also realized that he appreciates a good salad more than a lot of people I know. Though he may not do tricks like a dog or cuddle like a cat, Spike has brought a unique kind of joy into my life. I've learned that sometimes the most unconventional pets turn out to be the most charming companions. #UnconventionalCuties #PetLove #SpikeTheLizard
