So, I’m chilling on the couch, minding my own business, when my cat—let’s call her Princess Chaos—suddenly freezes. Ears perked, tail puffed, she’s on full alert. Next thing I know, my little cousin toddles into the room, and Princess Chaos absolutely launches herself across the floor, nearly knocking him over in her mad dash to the door. Turns out, she heard the mailman (her mortal enemy) outside.
My cousin is left blinking in confusion, while the cat’s already halfway up the curtains, hissing at the window like she’s auditioning for a horror movie. Moral of the story: never underestimate the lengths a pet will go to protect their territory—or how many heart attacks they’ll give you in the process.
