Last weekend, I found my dog totally wiped out and super thirsty halfway up a mountain trail. It was scary! I realized I hadn’t packed enough water for both of us. Lesson learned. Now, I always bring extra water, a collapsible bowl, and some snacks for her. I also take more breaks and check her paws for cuts or burns. If your pet seems tired or starts panting a lot, stop and rest. Don’t push it. Always keep an eye on your furry friend.
