Kawhi Leonard drops a career-high 55 and leads Clippers past the East’s No. 1 team

Kawhi Leonard just put on one of the best scoring performances of the season — 55 points, plus 11 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 blocks, to power the Clippers’ 112–99 win over the Eastern Conference’s top-seed Pistons in Inglewood. His offensive explosion buried Detroit’s defense, and the Clippers have now won four straight games behind the effort. Kawhi was efficient too — 17 of 26 from the floor and 16 of 17 free throws — and the victory gave LA some serious momentum as they play their way into the playoff picture. What do you think — is this one of Kawhi’s most impressive single-game performances this decade, or what? #NBA #Clippers #KawhiLeonard #NBAStats #BasketballDiscussion #Pistons #NBAHighlights

Mavs blew an 18-point lead but still survived Pistons 116–114 in OT

Dallas tried to give this away and still escaped. The Mavs beat Detroit 116–114 in overtime after coughing up an 18-point 3rd-quarter lead. Cooper Flagg led Dallas with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Anthony Davis had 15 points, 14 boards, 3 blocks, and came up huge late — including two big OT buckets and a go-ahead dunk after Cade tied it. Detroit nearly stole it behind Cade Cunningham’s 29/10/9, plus 17 and 13 from Jalen Duren, but the Pistons missed three shots in the final 8 seconds of OT. Also: Ausar Thompson got ejected in the 2nd quarter after contact with an official — bizarre swing moment in a one-possession game. #NBA #Mavericks #Pistons #CooperFlagg #AnthonyDavis #CadeCunningham #NBADiscussion
