Justin Guerra+FollowThis mystery black stick fell out of my shower. What is it?My shower head just fell off last night, and this black stick thing fell out with it. I have no idea what it is. It's a small rod, maybe five inches long, and it's lighter than you'd expect. It feels a bit like metal but it scratches easily and seems to be hollow on the inside. For some reason, when I picked it up, it snapped in my hand and left a small scratch. The shower still works fine without it, so I am completely confused. I can't figure out where it's supposed to go. I am hoping someone out there knows about plumbing. I would really like to know what this thing is and if I need to get a new one. I do not want to end up with a problem down the road because I'm missing some random part. #Plumbing #DIY #HomeRepair #WhatIsThis #HelpMe #HelpNeeded #Home 103127Share
Joseph Norris+FollowI Have a Bubble of Poop Water Hanging Over My Bathtub.Something really gross is happening in my bathroom. My partner and I think our upstairs neighbor's toilet is leaking. We have this huge water bulge in our ceiling and it looks like it is about to burst. We have a bucket under it just in case and the building's maintenance is calling a plumber. I really hope the solution is not a full bathroom remodel because this is our only bathroom. We have nowhere else to go. I am hoping someone out there has gone through something like this before. Any advice on what to do about this would be a big help. I want to know if I should just drain it myself. #HomeRepair #Gross #LeakyCeiling #LandlordNightmare #HelpNeeded #Plumbing #RentalLife 3864Share
David Dillon+FollowEvery hose I attach to my outdoor spigot leaksI’ve tried teflon tape on the spigot threads but it still leaks. Am I just gonna have to replace the spigot at some point? It’s not a huge problem but it’s just creating a mud puddle every time I use the hose. #Plumbing4720Share
