What really got me was seeing how the whole fanbase kinda dropped their rivalries. People who usually scream for Merc, Ferrari, or AM — everyone was on the edge of their seat hoping Nico would hold on. I’m a hardcore AM fan and still found myself cheering when he passed Stroll for P3. These are the moments in sport that make it so damn special. Where we all forget about team colors for a bit and just celebrate a driver who’s busted his ass for over a decade finally getting his due.
