The incident began on the 1st of the month, when the man allegedly made violent threats, including claims he would “shoot everyone’s brains out,” before firing a shotgun that backfired and struck the top of his head.
Six Kentucky State Troopers responded, wearing bulletproof vests and carrying rifles. Facebook posts describe a tense standoff as the man approached officers with his hands in his pockets, ignoring repeated commands to show them.
