Frozen veggies are better than Fresh ones

Like Chicken pot pie is one of those dishes that just doesn’t care if you use fresh, frozen, or canned peas. I tried making it with those fancy, fresh-from-the-market peas once, and honestly? No difference. Maybe even worse, because the fresh ones got mushy and lost their pop. The frozen peas hold up way better, and they’re always sweet. I get it, some folks think everything has to be farm-to-table, but for pot pie, it’s just not worth the effort or the price. Canned carrots and corn work too, and nobody at the table ever notices. The sauce and crust are what matter.
Save the fresh stuff for salads or something where it actually shines!
