Tried my hand at giving an intradermal injection today—turns out, it’s not as intimidating as it sounds if you break it down. 🔸 Prep is everything: Get your meds, gloves, syringe, and swabs ready. Double-check you’ve got the right stuff and the right person. No shortcuts here. 🔸 Clean and pick your spot: Go for a patch of skin on the inner forearm that’s clear of hair or scars. Wipe it down and let it dry—don’t rush this part. 🔸 Needle angle matters: Pull the skin tight, then slide the needle in at a super shallow angle (10-15°). You’re looking for a tiny bubble (that’s your sign you did it right). 🔸 Wrap it up: Remove the needle, dab if there’s blood, and toss everything sharp in the right bin.
