Clifton just won’t be the same without the sizzle from The Proud Rooster. After more than 50 years, Bob Doll—better known as the Chicken Man—is retiring at 81, closing the doors on a true neighborhood staple. Folks have started sharing memories of hearty breakfasts and that legendary fried chicken, all made by Bob himself.
