Patrick Adams+FollowHow to Politely Tell Your Sister to Lower Her VolumeMy sister is really loud—like, scream-level loud—especially when we're out in public. She tends to talk about sensitive or inappropriate topics at full volume, which can be pretty embarrassing. The problem? She gets really upset if we ask her to quiet down, and it seems to hit a nerve. I know she might be insecure about her voice, so I want to approach this delicately. Any tips on how to politely tell her to lower her volume without sounding rude or making her feel bad? #FamilyDynamics #SiblingAdvice #PoliteCommunication #SensitiveTopics #PublicEtiquette is there a way to politely tell her to shush without being rude? #RomanticRelationships40Share
Donald Wilson+FollowCan we please stop bringing crying babies to places they clearly don’t want to be??I saw a clip of Emma Raducanu at the Cincinnati Open asking for a crying child to be taken out and people were acting like she was some sort of villain. It’s tennis. You’re supposed to be quiet. A toddler isn’t going to sit still for that long anyway, so she was honestly doing the kid a favor. I don’t understand why some parents insist on bringing babies to events where silence is part of the experience. I went to see Max Richter in Boston once. Just five musicians on stage in this beautiful old theatre. First song finishes, and then a baby starts crying. The acoustics were so perfect you could hear every little sound. And yes, that included the crying. It’s just… why? #EmmaRaducanu #TennisLife #PublicEtiquette #Sports #Tennis 285109Share
