best luxury pool day spots in puerto vallarta?
We landed in Puerto Vallarta all excited for our babymoon, only to realize our resort was a total timeshare scam. The photos online looked amazing, but in reality, the pool is tiny, the food is bland, and the whole place feels like a never-ending sales pitch. We even spent an hour dodging staff just to get out to the beach!
Honestly, we’re not the type to just lounge quietly—we love good music, a lively crowd, and great food (I’m sticking to mocktails for now, but my husband is definitely not). We tried asking the front desk for suggestions, but they just kept pushing their own overpriced, boring buffet.
Has anyone found a truly upscale pool day spot here? Somewhere with a real DJ, fresh food, and a fun vibe—not the all-inclusive, cookie-cutter scene.
