HORROR🧘♂️+FollowMembers of Nigeria’s Shi’a Muslim community have been openly mourning the reported death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei the long-time Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran whose death in a joint US–Israeli airstrike sending international shockwaves. In several Nigerian cities, especially Kano and Lagos, supporters of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) took to the streets carrying Iranian flags, portraits of Khamenei and banners condemning the strikes. Demonstrators waved flags, chanted slogans and expressed deep sorrow, describing the loss as a profound blow to their religious community and condemning the involvement of the United States and Israel.
