How I Actually Hit 10k Steps a Day
I used to think getting 10,000 steps a day was just for fitness fanatics, but turns out, it’s way more doable than I thought. Here’s what’s worked for me:
🔸 Start with tracking—your phone probably already counts steps, or grab a cheap pedometer. See where you’re at on a normal day, no pressure.
🔸 Comfy shoes are a game changer. If you’re on your feet a lot, insoles can make even dress shoes less brutal.
🔸 Sneak in steps everywhere. Walk to the farther bathroom, take the stairs, or pace while you’re on calls. It all adds up.
🔸 Break it up—short walks after meals or during breaks make the goal way less intimidating. Walking with a friend or your dog helps, too.
Don’t stress about perfection. Small changes stack up, and before you know it, 10k steps feels totally normal.
