are haglöfs rugged pants really worth the hype?
I finally decided to treat myself and check out these Haglöfs rugged pants everyone keeps raving about. I mean, the store was a good 30-minute drive away, and when I got there, the pants looked pretty sturdy—almost too sturdy, if you know what I mean. I’m not sure if they’re made for hiking, gardening, or surviving a bear attack! But here’s the thing: I tried on my usual size, and they felt tighter than I expected, especially around the waist and thighs. I’m not exactly a marathon runner, but I don’t think I’ve grown that much since last year!
Has anyone else tried these on? Did you have to size up, or do they just break in after a few wears? I’d hate to spend this much and end up with pants that pinch every time I sit down for coffee. Or is this just how European brands fit? I feel like I’m missing something here.
