After a full loop around the U.S., we’re back to where our journey started—Portland! But this time, we’re settling just across the river in Vancouver, WA, and Camas. Why? First off, no state income tax in Washington and Portland’s lack of sales tax—it’s a dream for remote workers! Plus, living just a short distance from Portland offers the best of both worlds. The cost of living is lower, parking is free, and nature is right outside your door with lakes, hiking, and dog-friendly spots.
