🛑 the ONE traffic rule you probably didn't know existed

Everyone knows you can turn right on a red light after you stop and check for traffic. It's so common we don't even think about it. But a lot of people don't know that in most of America, you can actually turn left on a red light. The rule is that you have to be turning from a one-way street onto another one-way street. You still have to come to a complete stop first, just like with a right turn. The only exceptions are a handful of states like Connecticut, New Jersey, and a few others, and also New York City and Washington DC. A few states also let you make a left on a red light onto a one-way street from either a one-way or two-way street. The whole concept of this isn't exactly common knowledge, so be prepared for some funny looks or a few honks from other drivers. 😂 I just want to know if anyone has actually done this #TrafficLaw #RoadSafetyConcerns #Discussion #LegalAdvice #RedLight

These 3 Car Brands Had The Most DUIs In 2024 And One Is Wildly Unexpected 😅

A new study looked at insurance inquiries from 2024 to see which car brands have the most DUIs per 1,000 drivers. Here's what they found: No. 3 is Tesla. This one might make you scratch your head or nod knowingly, depending on what you think about Tesla drivers. They clocked in at 2.23 DUIs per 1,000. No. 2 is BMW. BMW drivers managed to chill out a bit this year, but they still came in strong at 2.57 DUIs per 1,000. So, they're still up there, but not quite as high as their 2023 numbers. And the Number 1 Spot Goes To... Pontiac. Yes, you read that right. Pontiac! A brand that's been out of production for like 15 years. They hit 3.11 DUIs per 1,000 drivers. Who saw that coming?! Now, here's where it gets truly wild. The same study found that Pontiac actually has the second-lowest rate of accidents of any car brand, with only 19.72 incidents per 1,000 drivers. This isn't saying anything about driving under the influence, but the data is just plain weird. #DUIAwareness #CarBrands #UnexpectedResults #Pontiac #Tesla #BMW #CarInsurance #CarOwnership #RoadSafetyConcerns

When LED Headlights Aren't the Only Hazard on the Road

We've all experienced the intense glare of LED headlights that can leave you squinting and scrambling for your lane. But what about those drivers who take road challenges to the next level? There I was, comfortably maintaining my lane, when suddenly it felt like a scene from a comedy of errors. An erratic vehicle compelled me to switch lanes, navigating not just the roads but this unpredictable driver's antics. It's a reminder that road safety isn't just about the lights we face but the behaviors that can surprise us around any corner. Moments like these highlight the importance of staying vigilant and adapting to unexpected situations on the road. Have you ever encountered such unpredictable antics behind the wheel?
