Arcangeli Grocery - The One and Only Artichoke Bread!

This Italian grocery store situated in Pescadero is named the best stop on a Road Trip! Why? Because they produce a one-of-a-kind Artichoke Garlic Bread! Selling at $7.99 each, these loaves literally fly off the shelves! I was lucky enough to snag two fresh-out-the-oven hot loaves today, which my kiddo and I shared - we can't stop raving about them! At first glance, the bread seems quite ordinary but, in fact, it's beyond delicious! The crust is hard and shiny, flavored with garlic powder and herbs. The inside is soft and full of air pockets, giving you a fluffy feeling with every bite. The most delightful surprise is the core filled with pickled artichoke, which gives a slightly sour, appetizing taste that lingers in the mouth. Besides the artichoke bread, the store also offers a variety of Fresh Bakery items; high-quality ingredients at affordable prices - I truly wanted to buy everything! Plus, their Deli Sandwiches are pretty good too. Priced between $13 and $15, these are seriously giant sandwiches - one can easily fill two people! Given the outstanding quality of the bread, I decided to look into the store's history and discovered it was established in 1929 and has been run by the same Italian immigrant family ever since, passed down from generation to generation. Indeed, all the beautiful things in life come from persistent pursuit👍! 📍Arcangeli Grocery Co. 287 Stage Rd, Pescadero, CA 94060. #ArcangeliGrocery #ArtichokeBread #ItalianGrocery #Pescadero #RoadTrip #FreshBakery #DeliSandwiches #FamilyBusiness

should i drive or fly across the us?

I've always dreamed of seeing the US in the fall, and now that I'm finally planning my trip, I'm torn between two options. Part of me wants to rent a car and drive from New York all the way to Los Angeles, stopping along the way to soak in the scenery, visit historic sites, and maybe even stumble upon those quirky roadside diners you only see in movies. But then I remember how long those drives can be—hours of endless highways, gas station coffee, and the constant worry about where to find a clean restroom. And let's not even talk about the cost of gas these days! On the other hand, flying seems so much easier. I could hop from city to city, spend a couple of days exploring, and then be off to the next place without worrying about traffic or getting lost in the middle of nowhere. But then I think about airport security lines, delayed flights, and the hassle of dragging my suitcase through crowded terminals. Plus, I worry I might miss out on those little hidden gems you only find when you're on the road. Has anyone actually done a coast-to-coast drive recently? Was it worth the time and money, or did you wish you’d just flown? And for those who’ve flown domestically in the US, did you find it stressful or pretty straightforward? I’d love to hear what worked (or didn’t) for you, especially if you’re someone who likes to take things slow and really experience each place. Sometimes I feel like I’m too old for all this running around, but then again, if not now, when? #usatravel #roadtrip #flyorride #Travel
