I'm for feeding the homeless and the US citizens living on our state streets. But when it comes to snap, no I'm not for feeding illegal entries. If truth was actually told more illegals especially from Mexico are supported more then our own citizens. Go to a grocery store and you'll see all the illegals with their snap card and they're buying junk food and loading up $200 worth of crap. I worked 40 years was retired physically unable to continue employment through the Army and when I finally applied last year, I was given $30 a month. Why am I not entitled as the illegals are? I have my little $12 purchases at a Walmart and the lady behind me has a car full of junk food oh sure how she could afford it as she was a Mexican? She informs me, she gets over $200 a month in benefits. and reiterate she has a child she has to feed. And then don't stop me there go to the food banks and they're being literally raped empty by illegals. there will actually push people off to grab an item items and I've seen them walk out with three four carts there is a limit but not to your illegals. The laws have to change on how your distributing the cards, and it should be to legal American citizens. Protect our own and do a lot more investigation of who you do give the snap cards to. I have no prejudice against people, race, color, sex, age etc, but I'm against the way our government takes care of we United States citizens. Remember "we can't pour from an empty cup".. We can't help others if we deplete our cup take care of America first.. Thank you for your time and listening, but take action as well. I worked at a homeless shelter for a couple of years, during that time 6 of our residents were arrested by federal authorities for selling their Snap benefits. They usually get .50 cents on the dollar. Then a lot of them use Snap benefits for food stamps booze as they call it, Snap benefits will buy cooking sherry/wine & vanilla extract. One guy said there's a certain brand of food coloring that's about 9 % alcohol. Also the uses for hand sanitizer however that's a different story. All this occurred in a small town of about 50,00 so expand to that to the entire US. #SNAPBenefits #SNAPLife #SNAPTalk

Nothing to Argue About

We are (or were) the richest country in the world. Nobody should be homeless or hungry, EVER! The Declaration of Independence states Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. So let's break that down Life = Healthcare is RIGHT. I cant live if im sick. Liberty = Enforcing the Bill of Rights. Free speech being #1. Pursuit of Happiness = liberty to make choices that serve your long-term interests, according to philosophers like John Locke; and as a public duty to ensure the conditions for happiness are possible for all citizens. All of these are systematically being taken away by YOUR PRESIDENT. We sit back and allow it. I just personally donated 4 full boxes of food to the local food bank to help do my part. We need to take care of each other. Don't depend on MAGA and big business helping you. A civil war is coming. Be vigilant and protect yourself, your friends and family from the desperation that drives people over the edge! The government fears one thing, the power of the people. Just the simple fact that people in the USA *NEED* food stamps is an abomination: this is due to many factors -- poverty, disability, no work skills, etc. The USA needs a different way to feed our people; perhaps making businesses pay a LIVING wage for that area / state would be a great start.
