I’m deeply concerned about what’s happening right now — especially for the children and families who depend on SNAP just to survive. No child in this country should have to go to bed hungry because grown adults in power can’t get it together. We’re talking about parents who already stretch every dollar, single mothers trying to feed their kids, seniors choosing between food and medicine — and now they’re expected to “wait it out” during a shutdown? That’s not leadership, that’s cruelty. If this system was truly about fairness, we’d make sure no family — regardless of where they live or how much they make — has to fight for the right to eat. Stop reling on the government and making it a way of life

I think most people their are people that need help but that should be for a short time an u have to contribute to society and not think the tax payers should pickup the cost the number of people on snap and assistance is out rageous the more that get on the more taxes go up theirs people out ther pass it down generations to generations and will move to states where it’s easy to obtain benefits I don’t blame them totally like I said ther are honest people who need it but the government doesn’t check anything and looks at it if they keep going they will round up votes who won’t vote for some one that fights so u don’t have to work and recieve all these benefits.But times have change and things change and as always u have the ones that ruin it for others ause they want found a way to live without working #SNAPBenefits #SNAPLife #SNAPTalk

for everybody who's on Snap or food stamps, the Republicans did not do this to you they have voted every day to open up the government but it's your Democrats who refuse to open up the government because they want more of our hard-earned tax money to go to illegals health insurance and other programs and to send money overseas for bullshit! our money needs to pay for Americans, for you people who are struggling! call your Democrat representatives and demands they sign the bill! if you don't this is going to continue on and on and it's going to get very very bad #SNAPBenefits #SNAPLife #SNAPTalk

Unable to work.

Those who are disabled should be exempt from losing their benefits. I have a daughter who has 2 children and is losing her food stamps. There are few jobs that she is able to do. She works as those jobs become available. She wants to be independent, but needs help, which has now been taken. The public at large does not understand what it is truly like for the disabled. Why?

Why are some on SNAP driving nice cars, wearing nice clothes and living in nice houses or apartments? If they have money for those things why are taxpayers subsidizing their lifestyle with SNAP benefits? Seems that if they would manage their finances better they wouldn't need taxpayer assistance. Which brings up the question, why are 43 million people on SNAP? Surely some of these recipients aren't really in need or eligible for SNAP. #SNAPBenefits #SNAPLife #SNAPTalk
