Many people do not have funds for food after they pay rent and utilities they need help especially when someone also has medical issues such as diabetes and they have to eat a strict diet. Cutting off their SNAP benefits can even lead to death for these people. SNAP benefits need to stay in place for the ones that really need it. SNAP benefits should be available to those who actually need it. Single parents with multiple children should learn to keep their legs together and get a job or go after the babies daddy for support. SNAP is not a lifestyle but a lifeline for many people, some who are retired and have a fixed income, not a multi generational lifestyle living on public assistance. I am for SNAP program but ONLY for elderly and disabled people but NOT for people who have been abused the system. Millions of people are getting the benefits which they don’t deserve. Let them work and earn their own money. It’s great idea what President Trump and his administration is doing. It’s time to face the reality and unfortunately people who really are in need of help will be cut too because of people who never deserved are getting all the benefits. Do we have a larger problem?

We have alot of folks in need of SNAP benefits as the numbers have been posted repeatedly. We need to be asking why are so many folks dependent on SNAP benefits? The DNR has for years expressed to people and it is also posted on their web site to not feed the animals as the will become dependent on them to feed them. How is the SNAP benefits any different? Maybe we have alot of folks that could use some guidance on how to become self sufficient. I know there are those that have no choice. #SNAPBenefits #SNAPLife #SNAPTalk
