This engagement ring with a 10k gold signet, what do you think?

I know that most of you probably get engaged with diamond ring but I came across this dainty engraved signet and I am so in love with it. I know it should not bother me but it kind of sucks how a lot of people think a ring with big rocks is the only acceptable engagement ring.
