I recently found out that my in-laws gave my 8 and 10-year-old children champagne while I wasn’t around. As someone who is sober, this really shook me. I work hard to create a safe, healthy environment for my kids, and moments like this make me question how to set clearer boundaries with family. It’s tough when those closest to us don’t understand or respect our choices, especially when it comes to our children’s well-being.
