Guard Your Heart, Guard Your Words Scripture: “The things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart.” “Out of the heart come evil thoughts.” — Matthew 15:18-19 Our words are powerful because they reveal what is hidden within us. Jesus teaches that the mouth is simply the messenger of the heart. When bitterness, anger, jealousy, resentment, or pride fill our hearts, they eventually find their way into our conversations. Likewise, when our hearts are filled with God’s love, grace, mercy, and truth, those qualities overflow into our speech. Today, ask God to search your heart. Invite Him to remove anything that does not reflect His character and replace it with His love, peace, and wisdom. When your heart is full of Christ, your words will naturally reflect Him. Today ask yourself: 1. What areas of my heart need God’s healing and transformation? 2. How can I intentionally use my words to encourage someone today? #GuardYourHeart #HeartCheck #Matthew1518 #FaithOverFear #ChristianLiving #SpeakLife #HeartTransformation #WordsMatter
