#AchimBailey – Springfield, Massachusetts * Achim Bailey was a 23-year-old man from Springfield, Massachusetts. * He was reported missing in January 2019 after a night out with friends. * Achim was last seen in the early morning hours of January 13, 2019, after leaving Samuel’s Tap & Table near the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield. * Surveillance video showed him walking alone in the downtown area and later near railroad tracks. After that, his cellphone went offline and he was no longer seen. * His disappearance sparked an extensive search involving local police, family members, volunteers, and the wider community. * Flyers were shared widely, and a reward was offered in hopes of finding answers. * On March 15, 2019, a body was recovered from the Connecticut River in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. * Authorities later confirmed that the body was Achim Bailey. * According to the Hampden County District Attorney’s Office, there were no obvious signs of physical trauma indicating foul play. * While his death was not immediately considered suspicious, the circumstances of how he ended up in the river have never been fully explained. * Achim’s case deeply affected the Springfield community and remains one that many people continue to remember and discuss.
