Ryan Evans+FollowI pressed charges on the boy that bullied my daughter this morning Recently, my daughter has been dealing with relentless bullying. One boy and his friends crossed an unforgivable line—he ripped off her wig and threw it in the trash. That wig wasn’t just expensive; it was a lifeline for her as she faces medical issues causing her hair loss. I didn’t hesitate. I took my daughter, the damaged wig, and the receipt straight to the police station and pressed charges for assault and destruction of property. Later, the boy’s parents reached out. They admitted they couldn’t afford to replace the $600 wig and asked for understanding because “he’s just 15.” But being young doesn’t erase the need for accountability. I told them plainly: actions have consequences. My daughter deserves to feel safe and respected, and it’s my job to make sure she knows that. Have you ever had to advocate for your child in a tough situation? I'd appreciate hearing your experiences. #ProtectOurChildren #ParentingThroughChallenges #AccountabilityMatters #StandUpForWhatIsRight #Parenting1388327Share
benjaminmeyer+FollowThey tried to get me kicked out of college until my dad showed upThis happened in college and it's a story I'll never forget. My best friend, a girl, was going through something and wouldn't tell me. When I found out a guy from another department was harassing and stalking her, I just went and punched him right in the face. A big brawl started and we both ended up in the principal's office with all our friends. Everyone was shocked because I was a good student. They called our parents. My dad came. The principal and my head of department started yelling at me, telling my dad that I had ruined my career. They even gave him a transfer certificate to fill out to get me out of the college. They were trying to scare us! My dad just calmly filled out the form. Then he looked at them and said what he did was right. He said no one should stand by when a woman is being harassed and he wants his son to stand up for any sort of injustice. They were stunned. We all got a month's suspension, but the guy who was harassing my friend ended up getting a transfer. I went on to graduate with triple placement and was the highest paid recruit that year. On the way home, my dad just looked at me and asked if I loved her or what.🤦😳 Typical parents.😂 However, he was right. This happened many years back and I'm now married that friend of mine. #Parenting #TrueStory #FamilyStories #FamilyRelationships #CollegeLife #Justice #StandUpForWhatIsRight #LifeLessons #LoveStory 31745Share
