Storm Incoming, Cat Acquired: Meet Noodle
So, apparently, my city is about to get absolutely wrecked by a storm tomorrow night. While everyone else is panic-buying bottled water and batteries, I made a beeline for the parking lot behind my apartment. Why? Because there’s this scruffy little cat (I call her Noodle) who’s been living under the old vending machine for weeks. She’s survived rain, loud trucks, and one very persistent raccoon, but I couldn’t let her face a hurricane alone.
So yeah, I scooped her up, bribed her with tuna, and now she’s making biscuits on my couch like she owns the place. Not sure who rescued who, honestly. Here’s to hoping we both ride out the storm with minimal drama and maximum snacks. Stay safe out there, everyone. And if you see a stray, maybe offer them a spot on your couch too.
