Rescued Kitten Living the Good Life Now

Last night, I heard suspicious rustling near the back porch. Turns out, a tiny, mud-streaked kitten had somehow infiltrated our dog’s bed and was making biscuits like it owned the place. Fast forward to this morning: the little gremlin is sprawled belly-up on my lap, purring like a tiny engine. I’m not saying I’ve been emotionally manipulated by a six-week-old furball, but I did just order three flavors of kitten food and a heated blanket off the internet. The dog is pretending not to care, but I caught him sneaking a sniff. Volume up if you want to hear the world’s tiniest purrs. I guess we’re a multi-species household now.
